Vacation With A Cause

Vacation With A Cause is our newest volunteer program that offers the opportunity to impact the everyday lives of those in our surrounding communities by bringing donated items from home to the hotel. Giving back to the community has always been a top priority for us at UNICO 20˚87˚ and our employees, and this program invites our guests to make a change in our local communities with a generous donation.

ABOUT RCD FOUNDATION

RCD Foundation is a civic association that promotes actions to improve the living conditions of people with limited resources through social development, education and health programs. The foundation works together with other non-profit private entities, institutions, companies and individuals to fulfill their corporate purpose.

About Nuevo Noh-Bec

Located on the outskirts of Playa del Carmen, Nuevo Noh-Bec is a small community that is home to nearly three thousand people. The community lacks basic necessities such as running water, electricity, and supplies for the classrooms at the local school.

WHERE DO MY DONATIONS GO?

All donated clothing items will be collected by the RCD Foundation and distributed amongst sectors of the population with limited resources. All donated school supplies and other items will be distributed to the Nuevo Noh-Bec and Juarez community school.

TRAVELING WITH DONATIONS

All donations can be brought to our Artesanos store on property. Below is a chart listing the items to be donated and which groups will benefit from the donation.

Packing Lists For Donations	donations delivered to
Men's & Women's Clothing Children's clothes Baby clothes Blankets Towels	Donations will be given to RCD Foundation and distributed to communities and sectors of the population with limited resources. The clothes must be clean and in good condition.
School Supplies: Markers, pencils and crayons Play-Doh	Donations will be given to the schools in Quintana Roo, including Playa Del Carmen, Solidaridad, Puerto Morelos, and Akumal, to carry out recreational activities with students.
Coloring notebooks Reading books in Spanish	Donations will be given to the Nuevo Noh-Bec community schools. Coloring books will be used for kindergarten classes and books for elementary and high school level classes.
Toys & table games	Donations will be distributed between several schools of limited resources within the Quintana Roo municipality, Solidaridad.
